1. Might be a little too soon to celebrate, but by the looks of things, the entire state will soon be free of drought status.
The most recent drought monitor (above) was released pre-deluge, so it doesn’t account for the 2” to 4” rain that fell Wednesday night. 
Only a small portion of the region was in a moderate drought this past update, so I’d like to think that we may have a totally blank map during next week’s update.
