1. Check out the sun spike this morning as the radar “detects” the sunrise a little after 6AM. You’d be surprised at what the radar can “see.” Everything from birds, to wind farms, even smoke from fires. 

    This morning’s sun spike is caused at sunrise and sunset as the radar experiences interference from the electromagnetic energy emitted by the sun.
